I am a retired engineer-economist. I got to know Adománytaxi through my son. In today’s Hungary, non-governmental organizations have a very important role to play. In countless cases, they perform public functions. I think Adománytaxi serves a very good purpose. It is really trying to build a bridge between the well off and those living in extreme poverty. My favorite Taxi experience was the Taxi rummage sale held at the Central European University. It was a pleasure to see how foreign students received us. It is good to be a volunteer on a team like the Taxi team.
