For years, I had planned to be part of an organization as a volunteer, but until last spring, I couldn’t find an organization that made an impression on me. Through its activities,  Adománytaxi has found a solution to an everyday problem – meaning  that many of the things that have become unnecessary for people living in Budapest would end up in the trash, but these are a huge help for the disadvantaged.
Since I was born and raised in Budapest, I have always taken the living standard and the living conditions in the city for granted. Then, of course, over time, when crossing / traveling to less-developed areas, I was confronted with the size of the gap between the regions. Many people have no idea – like I didn’t have in the past – what’s really going on, how many people are struggling day in and day out and how lucky we are. It is important to make those who are in a better position aware of this, and I think it is very important that they need to help those in need.
I have only met open, kind, selfless people on the Adománytaxi  volunteer team and among the donors, which completely invigorates me and gives me hope that there are still good people and what we do makes sense. There is no wheeling and dealing here, everything goes to the right place and to the right people and meanwhile we are also active in community building, which is a big extra.

As for myself, I work at an advertising agency, and in my free time I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible, hiking, traveling with my partner Zsolt – who has also been a Taxi volunteer for a while – and with our dog Kafka.
