I have always volunteered for some kind of organization. I came across Adománytaxi at the very beginning, when one of our donations had to be delivered urgently to the family asking for help, and a wonderful pregnant young woman took our donation as a “taxi driver” to the other side of the country. We met again when the organization finally had a warehouse, where I like to help the most (regularly if there is no epidemic) by packing and tidying up.
About myself: between 1974 and 1990, I was a university lecturer first in Gödöllő and then at ELTE. Since 1990, I have organized a publishing house, Birth Week, a newly established secretariat, and a book exhibition … I’ve been a retired freelance editor, organizer, web administrator for years now and I continue to volunteer in multiple places.
